Capturing images of people is a way for me to celebrate the beauty and spirituality of God's creation. If I pose a subject, it serves only as a starting point. There must be a reaction by the subject to something happening in the studio or a thought that crosses the person's mind. This instance of reaction offers a transient glimpse of the individual's unguarded persona. This is the moment I am searching for, when a wonderful image can be created.

To photograph a person, I first create a space and light it. Within this space my subject and I are free to move, act and react to each other. This allows me to focus on my subject without being distracted by the technical demands of photography.

I have upgraded my studio with top quality digital cameras, computer and printer and the benefits are even better than I expected.

Now, during a sitting, we can look at your pictures on a large monitor. This allows you to see if I am getting the photographs you want.

Powerful image editing software allows me to enhance your photos. I can remove blemishes, wrinkles and much more. If you would like, I can take off 10 pounds or 10 years. In group photos you no longer need to compromise on the shot where most members look good. I can take the best image of individuals from different shots and seamlessly add them to the best picture of the group.

Digital is fast. You don’t have to wait 2 weeks to see your proofs. You will see all the pictures on a monitor before you leave the studio. Your proofs can be read the next day.

Proofs don’t have to be on paper. You can have printed proofs if you like, but now, you can have digital proofs on a CD or published on the internet. The internet will allow you to instantly share you pictures with your friends and relatives any where in the world. Your images can be secured with passwords if needed.

All the processes and materials to print your pictures are of archival quality. Your photographs will last for generations to come.

Electronic images can be sent over the internet. I can custom tailor the size and resolution of you photo to meet the needs of your agency or publisher and e-mail or ftp the file to them.
